Born on June 28: Cancer

Cancer, decan 1

Sub-ruler: Moon

Nothing dilutes the Moon in this part of Cancer, so feelings run deep and close to the surface. You sense a mood before anyone speaks, remember what people said years ago and build a home wherever you land, even if it’s just a corner of a shared desk. The people in your life feel genuinely looked after. Taking things personally is the snag, and so is retreating into silence instead of saying what hurt. Try a sentence before a shell. Your instincts about people are good at work; trust them, but check the facts too, because a hunch is a starting point rather than proof.

Birthday number 1

People with this birthday number tend to move first. You spot the gap, start the project, say the thing nobody else wanted to say. Independence matters to you, and being told how to do something you already understand can grate. Your gift is momentum: once you commit, others follow. The shadow side is impatience with anyone who needs more time, plus a habit of carrying everything alone. Let people help before you’re exhausted, and more of your starts will become finishes.

Born in June

Long evenings, open windows and the start of summer give June an easy, sociable mood, and its people tend to be lively company. Gemini rules the first three weeks with quick talk and quicker ideas; Cancer begins at the summer solstice near the 21st and softens things with loyalty, memory and a strong sense of home. The pearl is June’s birthstone, the only gem made by a living creature, long tied to purity and wisdom gained slowly. Roses, the birth flower, hardly need explaining: love, in every shade. June-born friends often mix a playful surface with real depth underneath.
