Data use

Understand saved birth chart data, access through result links, browser storage, location searches and your analytics cookie choice.

Information processed with a calculation

The submitted name, birth date, time and place are stored in the server database with the calculated result. The request also processes IP address, browser information, language and a referring page when present. The interface sends technical details such as screen dimensions and device time zone. This page describes current behaviour; avoid entering unnecessary personal information.

Who can access a result link?

The result page does not require an account login. Anyone who knows its link can view the submitted name, birth details and calculation. Results are excluded from the sitemap and search engines are instructed not to index them. That instruction is not password protection. Share a link only with people you want to see those details.

Location lookup and activity summaries

A location query and language are sent to Nominatim using OpenStreetMap data. Your name and birth date are not added to that lookup. The home page may display calculation counts, location and device type, plus selected sign results. These summaries do not display the name or full birth date.

Browser storage and cookie choices

Saved chart lists are kept in this browser’s local storage. Clearing browser data can remove that list but does not delete a calculation from the server. Cookie preferences are stored on the device too. If Google Analytics is configured, it loads only after analytics consent. You can calculate a chart without accepting analytics cookies.

Retention

The current version does not apply an automatic deletion period to calculation records. Removing a chart from the browser list does not remove its server record. Keep this in mind when entering information and sharing result links. This explanation must be updated whenever the actual data processing changes.
